Studded Link Alloy is the most aggressive chain we offer for skid steer loaders. They are used primarily in heavy mud, snow, ice, and off-road applications. They offer superior wear and durability and are the most aggressive traction chain available for skid steer applications.

Spacing Options come in either 2-link or 4-link variations. 2-Link spacing variant chains have their cross chains mounted to the side rail at 2-link intervals while 4-link spacing type chains have their cross chains mounted at every fourth link in the side rail. 2-Link spacing offers superior traction and a smoother ride vs. 4-link spacing variant chains.

Also referred to as snow chains, traction chains or traction devices, tire chains help provide traction for your skid steer when working on snow, ice, and/or mud covered surfaces. When purchasing skid steer tire chains, many customers choose to chain up all four tires as skid steers utilize mechanically locked right and left drive-trains. Adding chain to just one tire on each side can damage the gearbox and drive-train as traction is applied to only one wheel creating uneven drive-train wear.
