Product Description
Quality Chain brand link shackle adjusters are an excellent choice for adjusting tire chains. Link shackle adjusters work by pulling the slack evenly out of the chain toward the center of the tire. These adjusters are made from link chain and shackles, and are fully adjustable for variations in tire size. The use of a wrench is recommended to tighten the nut, which in turn pushes the plate up to tighten the chain arms. They work with link tire chains, and can increase the chains life by up to 25%. Quality Chain part #0294 has an adjustable overall diameter that ranges from 18"-42" and works best with rim diameters ranging from 15"-36". Sold in pairs.
