We offer a large selection of American made chain slings assembled from high strength domestic alloy chain in grades 80, 100, and 120. Chain slings are the most durable and most customizable lifting sling option available. Chain type lifting slings are most commonly used in applications where temperature, chemical, or other similar factors can be an issue in the sling’s overall strength. All of our chain slings are handmade in the USA from high strength domestic alloy chain that is proof tested to twice the WLL (Working Load Limit) and features a 4:1 design factor.

How to Order
Due to the many types and size variations of our chain slings, we currently require all orders for chain slings to be placed directly with us via phone or email. If you need to place an order for slings, please contact us directly. This way we are better able to serve you and ensure you receive the correct sling for your application. Please note: Chain slings cannot be returned once they have been shipped for safety reasons. Regardless of condition, new or used, returns for chain slings will not be accepted.

Proof Testing
All of our chain slings are made from domestic chain that exceeds the specifications of NACM, ASTM, & OSHA. The chain used to make our slings is proof tested to twice the WLL (Working Load Limit) rating to meet the rigorous requirements of overhead lifting. If you require proof testing for completed sling assemblies, please contact us directly to arrange this with one of our helpful product specialists. Please note: Proof testing will require an additional fee depending on the number of slings, and size of slings being certified.

Chain Sling Types
There are two main types of chain slings:

Standard Chain Sling Configuration

Adjustable Type Sling Configuration

Both types are fully customizable and can be made with different end fittings, number of legs, etc. Every chain sling we offer is made in the USA to the strictest quality control standards possible and include the required safety tags and lift ratings on every sling so users can easily identify safety ratings.

Our standard chain slings are available in one, two, three, or four leg configurations and can be made with either sling hook or grab hook end fittings. Our adjustable chain slings are available in one or two leg configurations and have a short section of chain with a grab hook attached to allow the user to manually adjust each sling leg for length.

We also offer adjustable type chain slings with the grab hook attached closer to the master link by means of a coupling link. For this type of sling, no chain length is included between the grab hook and master link to allow for shorter adjustments.

Chain Sling Fittings
We have many different end fitting options available for our chain slings including clevis grab hooks, clevis sling hooks, clevis self-locking hooks, eye self-locking hooks, & eye grab hooks. Additional specialty custom hook options are available upon request. Please contact one of our product specialists for more information.

How are Chain Slings Measured?
Chain sling length is the distance end to end of the sling from the inside pitch of the master link to the inside pitch of the hook at the farthest points. The chain sling must be pulled and laid out in a straight line to properly measure. Always refer to the safety ratings and safety tags as well for referencing sling identification.
